Aim
This half day course is developed to introduce a familiarisation with current avalanche safety equipment. Consolidate your experience and future practice with a broader knowledge of how the equipment functions and the limitations it has.
Course Content

Air Bags
Pre-requisites
Over 18’s with some experience of skiing, winter walking or winter mountaineering. Novices are welcome, however we suggest that this course is better suited to people already experienced in winter mountain conditions for the context of the training to be understood.
Location, timings & logistics
Courses normally start at 09.00 and finish at 12.00. Exceptions to this will be agreed with you in advance.
The course meeting location is usually our HQ in Kendal. Exceptions to this will be agreed with you in advance.
The course is flexible taking into account individual and group needs and prevailing weather conditions.
